We want you, your family, and your friends to create great memories. To do that safely, we ask that you (and your visitors) have fun and respect our campground rules. By displaying respect for fellow campers, vehicles, and the environment we can all enjoy a safe and fun visit.
Shady Wooded Spots
With over 30 daily spots to choose from we have a wooded spot just waiting for your visit! 20/30/50-amp sites, a park model ready for your stay, and primitive spots all completely shaded – experience the beauty of the Northwoods! Looking for a seasonal spot, send a request for info, here!
Swimming Pool
From Memorial Day to Labor Day, our heated pool is ready for you! Pool opens at 8:30am and closes at dusk. Parent supervision is required for children – there is no lifeguard on duty.
Playground & Rec Room
A good old-fashioned playground for the kids to run that energy off! ‘Swing’ on over and ‘dig’ up a good time! Our rec room has electronic claw games and fun for kids of all ages. We ask adults to stay off the playground equipment. All kids under 10 must be accompanied by an adult at all times!
Showers & Restrooms
Coin operated shower and restrooms are available 24/7 from May – October. Our facilities are cleaned regularly. A change machine is available in our bar and grill if needed!
Laundry Facility
Sometimes the great outdoors leaves you messy, but we have you covered! We have a full coin operated laundry facility on-site! Don’t have quarters? Stop by the bar and use our change machine!
Fish Cleaning Station
Our fish cleaning station is a popular spot for our fishing friends. With running water and room to prep dinner! All we ask is that you clean up after yourself! We love the smell of fresh fish on the fire.
Maple Bear Bar & Grill
Full menu and drinks for everyone! Maple Bear Bar & Grill is a great spot to meet up with old friends or create new ones. Located right of County Highway H, we are on the ATV/UTV and Snowmobile trails. Stop in a warm up with a some great food. Check out our MENU and hours.
ATV/UTV Trails
With over 400 miles of trails in Lincoln County there is an adventure at every turn! The trail runs right to Maple Bear Campground – camping in the Northwoods never looked so good!
Tents, Campers, RVs, and Lodge
Room to stretch, whether you are in a tent, a camper, an RV, or a park model rental, we have a spot for you! Seasonal sites are available if you want to experience the Northwoods for a season. Daily sites with water and electricity or primitive sites that give you the quiet of the woods, check our availability, now!

Cycling and Hiking Paths through Tomahawk
Hiawatha & Bearskin State Trail
Maple Bear Campground is situated just 13 miles from one of the Northwoods best known state trails! This 6.6 mile stretch of the trail is known for it’s history and beauty! The Hiawatha Trail connects just north of Tomahawk to the Bearskin State Trail, an additional 18-mile stretch that brings you right to Minocqua.
Hiawatha and Bearskin State Trails are multi-use trails, offering hiking and biking in the summer and snowmobiling in the winter. ATV/UTV traffic is prohibited on both trails.
